A Vision for America || A Devotion

Hello everyone! Time for another devotional already! How time flies! I have entitled this devotion A Vision for America, but I guess it’s actually more of a prayer list for America. I challenge you to take this list, make it your own, and pray with me for our nation. If you are outside our country, we covet your prayers, but adapt this list for your home country! And if you feel so led, drop us a note to tell us a little about the needs of your country and how we can pray for you!

A Prayer for our Leaders||

• That they would fear the Lord.
  
• That the Lost would be Saved and the Saved would go forth in boldness for Christ.
  
• That the council of the wicked will be turned to naught.
  
• That Godly men would be elected into office, sweeping the nation with righteous votes in the Congress and Senate, federal, state, and local.
  
• That God would protect them, regardless of party.
  
• That they would do everything in their power to repeal and ban Roe V. Wade and stand up for the Unborn of our nation and the world.
  
• That God would be Glorified through them.
  

 
A Prayer for our Nation ||

• That the peace of God would outshine the violence of a few.
  
• That we would see a revival sweep the churches of our Nation.
  
• That the people of God would go forth to labor in the fields, white unto harvest.
  
• That we would get a genuine burden for souls.
  
• That more missionaries would take to the field.
  
• That our nation would be ProLife again.
  
• That the safety of our citizens would be a priority again.
  
• That the Word of God would be preached in our pulpits, bringing Glory to God.
  
• That our Nation could once again be that beacon of hope to the Lost and Dying about us.
  
• That God would spare us judgment and rain mercy upon us for the sake of the remnant.
  

 
A Prayer for Those Who Protect Us ||

• That God would place a shield of protection about them.
  
• That they would come to know God as their personal Savior.
  
•  That those who are saved would be encouraged in their Faith and stand Boldly for Christ.
  
• That they would receive the financial and moral backing they need.
  
• That they would be recognized as the heroes that they are.
  
• That they would return to their families in peace and safety.
  
• That they would always stand for justice and fairness.
  
• That God would give them clear minds.
  

 
A Prayer for All of Us ||

• That God would show mercy.
  
• That God would stay His hand of judgment.
  
• That God would bless us one more time.
  
• That no matter what happens in our country, God will get the Glory and that His Will will be done.
