Celebrate the true spirit of the season with this collection of five-minute holiday stories. Perfect to pair with your morning coffee or binge-read while curled up with a favorite blanket on a snowy afternoon!

Today it's my turn to share about a new book in Author Kellyn Roth's Chronicles of Alice and Ivy Series! I'm so excited to share an interview with you from my favorite character, Nettie Jamison! Let's jump into the fun!
Title: At Her Fingertips
Series: The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy, Book #3
Author: Kellyn Roth
Genres: Historical Fiction, Historical Romance, Women’s Fiction
Era: Late Victorian (1880)
Release Date: July 17th, 2021
She’s willing to do anything to follow her plan.
Debutante Alice Knight is ready for her first social season in London. She’s determined to impress society and her mother with an affluent match, at last escaping her past and embracing a future of her own making.
Peter Strauss, an American reporter visiting England, isn’t exactly what Alice had in mind. However, his friendship proves invaluable as Alice faces the challenges of her debut. Almost immediately, she attracts the attention of a well-born gentleman—perfect save for the simple fact that he’s not a Christian.
The life she longs for is finally at her fingertips, but between her own heart and the convictions of her faith, she isn’t sure she ought to grasp it.

About the Author||
Kellyn Roth is a Christian historical women’s fiction & romance author from North-Eastern Oregon who has independently published multiple novels, the most notable being The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy series. You should definitely call her Kell.
Kell lives on family-owned property outside an unmemorable but historical town with her parents, two little brothers, arbitrary cat, precious border collies, a dozen cows, and lots of chickens. She also possesses a classic, vintage aesthetic which does not at all speak to her country girl side, but such is life.
When not writing, Kell likes to blog, teach writing to her various students, have day jobs which allow her to keep her car properly insured, and spend lavish amounts of money on Dairy Queen french fries. She also likes to talk about Keira Knightley and her own books way too much.

An Interview with Nettie Jamison ||
1| What is your favorite pastime?
Oh, I enjoy knitting, and I like to read. However, I'd much rather spend time with my family, particularly my children. I enjoy watching them grow and learn, whatever that looks like. And I like talking to them, rather giving advice or simply chatting about their lives. I enjoy talking with my friends and my husband, too, of course, but there's a special delight when it comes to my own babies.
2| What is some advice you wish Alice would take to heart?
That she can't be in control. That, like Claire before her, she is going to have rough, hard times in her life ... and that those rough times will shape her into the woman God wants her to be, if she can only surrender. But she won't surrender, not easily. She's too much of a fighter - Heaven help me, I do raise fighters, even if that hadn't been my intention! And she may have to be beaten until she must give up, though of course, I would never wish that on my girl.
3| What is some advice you wish Ivy would take to heart?
I think, with maturity, she will realize the difference between humility and failing to understand the inherent value of herself. However, I'm not worried about Ivy. She listens to God. I've seen her doing this since she was a child, and I know she'll be all right in the end. Actually, she seems to have a strong connection to God than I do! I don't hear from Him the way she seems to.
4| If you could change anything about your life what would it be?
In the end, if I could go back, how could I do anything different? With a small glance into the future, I might've chosen to walk in a different passage or to trust in a different person or ... any number of things. But knowing all I know now, I wouldn't want to change a thing.
5| What is your favorite food?
I don't love food in particular. I sip on tea periodically throughout the day, though!
