Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I have a different kind of post for you. Please stay tuned for an announcement at the end of the post! Enjoy! Offer unto God thanksgiving; a pay thy vows unto the most High: (Psalm 50:14 KJV) (Please note, this is not all that I am thankful for, nor are they listed in order of importance to me. These are just the main things I’m thanking God for this year.) 1.) Salvation This list would not be complete without listing the biggest blessing God has offered to mankind! And with the sacrifice paid for It, it should never be taken for granted. 2.) Family It is such a blessing to be a part of a large family. (Just found out that another niece or nephew is on the way!!!) And getting to watch Kaylee and Jackson, via phone, hit some major milestones this year has been pretty amazing. 3.) America Big surprise, right? I can’t find words to describe the feelings I have for my country. I guess I could just say, I’m proud to be an American! 4.) January 20th, 2017 Time to get political, lol! God has shown extreme mercy on our nation, as He has proved time and time again. Though man is not the answer to our problems, God can use men to point us in the right direction. 5.) My Home I’d never trade my house in the country for all the mansions in the world...until I get married anyway. (No that is not a hint towards anything, so don’t get excited, haha!) 6.) The National Sword of the Lord Conference WOW! This year’s line up of preachers (and sermons) was amazing. Glad to belong to a people known as Independent Fundamental Baptists! 7.) The Fundamental Broadcasting Network Best Radio station in the World! What a blessing to have a missionary that never sleeps! 8.) Sakura :) My precious seal point Siamese kitten, a gift from our cat, Maria. I love my baby girl:) 9.) Our Military Duty. Honor. Country. Hats off to the heroes! 10.) Our First Responders Service before self. We are so blessed to have people on standby for every emergency we have. For All of this, I give thanks! Thought to Ponder: What are your top ten things to be thankful for this year? Why not make a list and share it with your family this thanksgiving? Announcement! Just a quick note to say that somethings are about to change around the blog, starting with this post After this, you can expect, history articles, devotions, writing posts and some random things brewing on my mind :) Hope you enjoy! Ryana Lynn Jude 22 Hello! It's been a bit since I've posted, but with good reason! Today, I am officially releasing my very first Christmas Novella, Coffee Shop Christmas!
I know everyone was expecting another Civil War novel, but due to some ruts and unexpected ministry opportunities, we are now shooting for spring of 2018 for it's release. Sorry about that, but I know it's all for the best! Anywho, I super excited to share this new book with you! It's about 80 pages long, so it will make for a cozy winter evening read. It's also a mixture of things I love: Coffee, Policemen, writing, music, history...why don't I just give you the back cover blurb? While for some, Christmas is a time of pleasant memories, for others, it is a reminder of past tragedies. Police widow Katherine Shannon is one such person. Since the death of her husband a year ago, she has made ends meet running a coffee shop across from the town police station. But as time goes on, she’s questioning whether she should keep the shop open or if maybe God has something else in mind for her. Can a cup of coffee really make a difference in this world? Can a coffee shop be used for God’s glory? Can God use burnt cookies and salted caramel lattés to open a door for Christian service? Or an overheard conversation to touch a heart? (Mark 9:41) Through a series of God orchestrated events, she will find her answer. Come along and join Katherine as she finds God’s will for her life. Once you visit The Coffee Shop, you’ll never be the same. Grab your copy for $7 or get 2 or more copies at $5 a piece! Order them on my publications page:) Remember, Christmas is coming! What better gift than a Christmas story? And speaking of Christmas, why not grab a few copies of The Land of Cotton and Our Heritage to Save while you're at it? All books can be found on my publications page:) Have a Blessed day! Ryana Lynn Jude 22 |
