I'm back from my hiatus to bring you a fun post for the season! I love fall so much and one of my favorite ways to spend autumn afternoons is with a warm drink and a good book! Here are a few books I thought you might enjoy this fall! Heritage of Praise by Rebekah Morris
This is a sweet Thanksgiving story that I read last year that I think everyone will enjoy! It’s short and just might inspire a new Family tradition. Jonas and Olivia by Victoria Minks This book just screams fall to me. The setting aides this idea 😉 It’s an adorable Revolutionary War story the whole family will enjoy, especially if you happen to like Pollyanna! The Old River Road by Hailey Rose A lovely historical fiction that chronicles her family history, this book covers multiple seasons, but to me, it’s a perfect read for a cold autumn or winter evening. Three People by Isabella Alden For me, this one is between fall and winter. It’s a story about three boys born the same day in three different stages of society…and how the evils of alcohol affect them all. A deeper book, it is thought provoking and challenging for the Christian life! A Question of Honor by Jesseca Wheaton Okay, so I think this actually takes place mostly in the summer, but I really like it as a fall read. It’s about Americans flying planes in the RAF (Royal Air Force) before Pearl Harbor during WWII. And it might have to do with a Jewish girl and a Nazi…One warning though, there’s a little smidgen of romance at the very beginning, but then the couple gets married, so it’s great after that. And of course, I love a good mystery during the fall! So, here’s a list of some of my favorite series! The Farm Mystery Series by Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Castleberry—8-12 suggested age, but older ones love them too! Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene (Minor Edits) –8-99 😉 The Hardy Boys by Franklin W. Dixon (Minor Edits) –8-99 😉 Patchwork Mysteries by Guideposts (Minor Edits) 16+ Have a Blessed Day and Happy Reading! Ryana Lynn Jude 22 Comments are closed.
