How are we over halfway done with FFF? Seems like we just started! In any case, welcome back for day 4 of the blog party! Are you getting some good recommendations and growing your TBR? I know I am! Today is a topic that I thought would be hard for me, because in general, I’m not a huge romance fan. But I was able to find a few books I could talk about, though I will state, I recommend these books for adults two of these strictly for adults. I will mark them as we go. Let’s dive in! Treasured in Turtle Bay This book is a romance, I will admit. It is appropriate for an adult audience. (Nothing dirty, but there is some hand holding and kissing, talk of toxic relationships and other such serious topics more appropriate for adults, and nothing children/adolescents should concern themselves with.) The honor of the Marine and the sad situation the lady found herself in was well written and I enjoyed it immensely! There is a deception plot, but it all comes out in the end so it didn’t bother me much. Goodreads Link Amazon Link Freedom Oh man, I love this book so much! I was given the privilege of Beta-Reading this book and guys, its. So. Good. You need a copy if you love: Marines. Stories that showcase compassion for those with PTSD/Mental Health Issues. Physical Therapists (idk, that’s what she does and I love her, don’t judge XD). Veterans. Summer reads. Just pick the book up already! Goodreads Link Amazon Link The Sky Above Us Adults only: There is some rather sad and disturbing content in this book, but the message is so good, it’s worth the wade through. People sin and that’s a fact of life. This book doesn’t glorify it. But it is still too much detail for children. This book is set in WWII and I love it way too much and can’t wait to reread the series! Goodreads Link Amazon Link Oh, The Fallen Another Beta read of mine *hugs it close* This debut broke my heart in a million pieces and I’m waiting on the sequels to mend it back together again. It’s about the war on terror, soldiers, broken hearts, ones who didn’t make it back home and those who have to live with the hole in their heart forever… Goodreads Link Amazon Link Dandelion Dust The South. A Family farm. A four-wheeler. Hospitals. A Farm dog. Need I say more? This book has a summer and autumn vibe to me and I think it’s a perfect transition book. Dig into it today. You won’t be sorry. Goodreads Link Amazon Link That’s all for now! Comment your favorite book with a romantic element and then head over to Kate’s blog for more recommendations!
